Potential liquefied natural gas deliveries from Russia to Kuwait have been discussed during the meeting between Gazprom’s head, Alexey Miller and Abdulaziz Al-Adwani, Kuwait’s ambassador to Russia.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector within the memorandum of understanding Gazprom signed with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) in 2015.

The potential supplies of liquefied natural gas to Kuwait have been given special attention at the meeting.

Under the MoU signed in 2015, Gazprom and KPC set out the main areas of possible partnership between the two companies, particularly in the sphere of liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gases and other petroleum products as well as scientific & technical cooperation and investments.
