GDF Suez LNG Sales Rise in Q1

GDF Suez of France recorded a growth in the company’s external LNG sales in the first quarter, with volumes amounting to 27.4 TWh, or 34 cargoes. This represents an increase of 5.7 TWh versus 21.7 TWh, or 24 cargoes, at the end of March 2013.

The contribution of the company’s Global Gas & LNG business to GDF Suez’ revenues for the first quarter amounted to EUR 1,660 million, a rise of 4.7% compared with the end of March 2013.

The company’s revenues in the first quarter were EUR 22,818 million, down 5.9% on a gross basis. EBITDA for the period was EUR 4,225 million, down 15.6%.
