Grain LNG terminal awaits Trinidad cargo

The UK’s Grain LNG terminal, operated by National Grid, is expected to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas from Trinidad and Tobago, shipping data says.

The cargo is carried by the 135,500 cbm British Merchant, and it is scheduled to arrive at the terminal near London on October 14.

The terminal has a 15 million tonnes per annum capacity – equivalent to about 20 percent of the gas demand in the UK.
