HOS Riverband OSV delivered to Hornbeck Offshore

Eastern Shipbuilding has delivered HOS Riverband OSV to Hornbeck Offshore.

HOS Riverband OSV Delivered to Hornbeck OffshoreThe delivery of the vessel took place in Eastern Shipbuilding’s yard in Panama City, Florida, on Monday, February 3. The HOS Riverband OSV is Eastern’s fourth and final HOSMAX 300 vessel delivered to Hornbeck Offshore.

The 98 meters long vessels are capable of a cruising speed of 12 knots. The bridge is fully integrated and arranged so as to increase visibility, and it features the latest technology in navigation  and communication equipment.

The six remaining vessels that are under contract with Hornbeck are designated as HOSMAX 310 Offshore Support Vessels. Alongside these, Hornbeck has also ordered two HOSMAX 310ES Multi-Purpose Supply Vessels that accommodate 73 people, and are equipped with a 250MT subsea crane, helideck and moon pool.

Hornbeck Offshore Services currently owns a fleet of 60 vessels that primarily serve the energy industry in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and Latin America. As for Eastern Shipbuilding, they are currently under contract to construct 16 vessels of the same size and complexity for customers in the United States and Brazil.
