Vessel mishap delays Woodside oil start-up

PLANS to accelerate first production from the $1.48 billion Enfield oil field off North West Cape have collapsed following an accident to the Nganhurra floating production storage and offtake (FPSO) vessel.
Woodside, which has 60 per cent of the field and is the operator, confirmed yesterday the Korean-built FPSO would have to be sent overseas for assessment and repairs.
