New plans over ghost ship scheme

A company which wants to scrap former US naval ships on Teesside has submitted an amended application.
Able UK wants to dismantle up to 13 so-called ghost ships at its facility in Graythorp, Hartlepool.

It applied to Hartlepool Council last October for hazardous substances consent to store a range of materials, including asbestos and acetylene.
