GreenCarrier buys Hansa Seaways

Logistics firm GreenCarrier International has acquired Finnish freight forwarder Hansa Seaways for an undisclosed sum. GreenCarrier said Hansa Seaways, which offers logistics services on import and export cargo in Finland and Russia, would be merged into GreenCarrier Finland on 1 June.

GreenCarrier International MD Staffan Kjellberg said: “GreenCarrier Finland was created in February 2009 by the renaming of FCS Logistics, a company we acquired in June 2008 and which was already strong in the air freight business.”
