Huangpu Shipbuilding Bags Bulker Duo

Guangzhou Huangpu Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, has signed a deal for the construction of two bulk carriers with Haihong Shipping.

Under the contract the shipyard will build two 64,000dwt bulk carriers bringing its orderbook to 14 vessels.

CSSC Guangzhou Huangpu Shipbuilding was first established in the year 1851, and with a 160 year long history, it is also the main fabrication base for navy vessels, specially engineered ships and offshore engineering in the south of China.

Haihong Shipping is a private general cargo shipping company focused on coastal and Yangtze river business.
