Huntington field ready to resume production

Huntington oil field, located in the UK North Sea, is slated to get back in production this weekend.

According to Premier Oil, a partner in the field with 40 percent interest, Huntington will return to producing oil ahead of schedule, as the planned maintenance work has been completed.

The Huntington oil field is operated by E.ON which owns a 25 percent interest. The oil is produced through the floating production unit Voyageur Spirit.

Other partners in the field are Noreco and Iona Energy with 20 % and 15% ownership, respectively.
