HVS Holds Keel Laying for Two Vessels

Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard (HVS) held a keel laying ceremony for Hi-Investment & Securities’ two bulk carriers last week.

The ceremony for the 37.000 DWT bulkers (Hull No. S088 and S089) was organized on Dec 30th, at the shipyard’s Dock No. 2 and saw the attendance of representatives of the owner, Korean Register of Shipping (KR) and HVS.

According to the production schedule, Hull Nos. S088, and S089 will be launched in April 2014, and delivered in June and July 2014 respectively.
