IHC Merwede to Get New Dredging Sales Director

Fulco Vrooland will join IHC Merwede on 15 February 2012 as the company’s new Dredging Sales Director. He will succeed Arie Korevaar.

Mr Vrooland began his career with Tsuji Heavy Industries in Japan, which produces marine equipment for worldwide export. He worked there for ten years and was ultimately responsible for the entire sales and marketing department.

In 2009, he joined Sasebo Heavy Industries, a publicly traded shipyard in Japan. He then set up joint ventures with the largest shipbuilding groups in China. Consequently, Mr Vrooland has developed an excellent network from his experience in the maritime sector and has extensive knowledge of the markets in which IHC Merwede operates.
