Impact Subsea Launches ISD4000

Impact Subsea has launched ISD4000 – a survey grade depth & temperature sensor with optional integrated HMRU.

If integrated with HMRU, ISD4000 can provide the user with heading, pitch and roll values.

The ISD4000 is 8 cm long, 4.5 cm wide and weights 0.5 kg in air. Using under 40mA of power at 24VDC it offers low power consumption from a sensor, the company explained.

The ISD4000 compliments Impact Subsea’s ISA500. Combined, the pair provide the user with altitude, depth, temperature, heading, pitch & roll.

Ben Grant, managing director of Impact Subsea, said:

“With the ISD4000 we have created a very capable depth & temperature sensor, which compliments the capabilities offered by the Impact Subsea ISA500. Providing depth, temperature and with an integrated HMRU makes the ISD4000 one of the most powerful and most compact underwater sensors available today.”
