Infographic: Santos GLNG year in review

Santos GLNG highlighted the achievements of its project during the year 2014 in an infographic. 

Led by Australian company Santos, in partnership with Petronas from Malaysia, Total from France, and Kogas from South Korea, Santos GLNG project involves involves ongoing gas field development in the Surat and Bowen Basins, a 420-kilometre gas transmission pipeline, and the construction of an LNG plant on Curtis Island, near Gladstone.

In 2014 Santos GLNG drilled 114 wells and completed the gas transmission pipeline. It built 3 major gas hubs, placed all 111 modules and built and tested 2 LNG storage tanks.

The 7.8 mtpa capacity LNG plant’s commissioning is well underway and over 90% complete with first LNG expected in the second-half of 2015.
