Introducing CoTEs and CaSE at Gastech 2014

Every 18 months, the Gastech Conference & Exhibition brings together thousands of gas players from all aspects of the international gas and LNG supply chain to do business, forge relationships, and keep abreast of the industry. Gastech 2014, taking place 24-27 March 2014 in KINTEX1 Korea, promises to follow this tradition by hosting show floor features that will provide visitors with ample opportunity to enhance their experience and provide further networking opportunities at the Exhibition – the Centres of Technical Excellence (CoTEs) and the Contractors and Suppliers Exchange (CaSE).

The CoTEs at the London 2012 event were led by high-level speakers from renowned and respected associations and organisations such as Black & Veatch, Rolls-Royce, Wärtsilä, WorleyParsons, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc, CB&I, IMarEST, Lloyds Register, Technip, Baker Hughes, JGC Corporation, and attracted thousands of gas professionals to its theatres. Following on from this success the technical seminar series will be a returning to next year’s Gastech Exhibition in Korea to provide a comprehensive and expert insight into many of the technological advances from recent projects.

Once again, working closely with some of the world’s most respected industry associations and organisations, the CoTEs will bring together high-level speakers who will provide significant insights and updates about the latest developments in gas technology on nine topics of interest: Liquefaction, LNG Fuel Technology, Natural Gas Vehicles, Offshore & Subsea Technology, LNG & Gas Carrier Ship Technology, Pipeline Infrastructure, Power Generation, Heath, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), and Gas Monetization (NGL/GTL).

Technology has been fundamental in propelling exponential growth of the gas industry over a relatively short amount of time. That is one of the reasons why the CoTEs have been quickly established as one of the most anticipated elements of Gastech. We look forward to welcoming the industry hear first-hand from technology leaders showcase innovation that will play a role in driving the industry forward for decades to come.” says Amanda Basi, Programme Director for the Gastech Exhibition Features.

For the first time in its 43-year history, Gastech will introduce a new feature to its Exhibition – CaSE – to provide a forum where suppliers have an opportunity to hear industry-specific contractors share current upcoming projects, business opportunities, and procurement processes in three areas: Shipbuilding, Onshore LNG Facilities, and Offshore LNG Facilities.

Dedicated to fostering dialogue amongst the supply chain, the CaSE will allow manufacturers and service providers gain a greater understanding of the different process and requirements for bids and tenders across different contractors, and seize business opportunities with major Shipbuilding and Engineering, Procurement and Contracting (EPC) firms.
