Iran: Gas Exports to Neighboring Countries Up by 33.5%

Iran’s gas export to neighboring countries has increased by 33.5% compared to last year, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Mr. Owji announced here.

According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he said that since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year, Iran has exported about 7 billion cubic meters of gas to neighboring countries.

He went on to say that, Iran imported more than 6.3 billion cubic meters of gas. This figures show 40% increase compared with the same period last year.
