Italy: Green Yachts Presents New Zero 80 Boat Design

Italy - Green Yachts Presents New Zero 80 Boat Design

Green Yachts, an Italian design studio, presents a 24 metre concept that interprets the classic Riviera yacht for modern environmental sensibilities. The project Greenyachts Zero 80 was born from the pencil of Italian architects to cover the range of displacement boats market within 24 meters length.

A boat that is inspired by the traditional first yachts of the Riviera, with a central wheelhouse and a particular stern area, with direct access to master cabin from aft sunbathing area. An exclusive area with great privacy, which is particularly protected from wind while cruising.

The design of the boat, with its many flat surfaces is studied to give the possibility to install solar panels for the electric charge of the accumulator, while the original windurbine integrated in the superstructure will supplement the energy needs. The propulsion system consists of 2 main generators coupled to electric motors, guaranteeing security, greater autonomy and extreme silent cruising as the engine room, at center of the yachts is adeguately insulated to the frequencies of generators.

A vessel that accommodate from 6 to 8 guests (charter version with 4 guest cabins) with 4 crew members with dual access to the crew area. Ideal for cruising with low consumption, high comfort and low emissions.
