Japan: Chiba Terminal Gets 887,376 Tons of LNG in November

Japan’s Chiba liquefied natural gas terminal received 887,376 tons of LNG in November, according to the Japan Tariff Association data.

The terminal received LNG from Brunei, Malaysia, Australia and Russia.

The Chiba LNG Terminal was built in 1973 and it is jointly owned by Tokyo Gas and TEPCO.

It is one of the largest LNG terminals in the world and it has a capacity of 10.38 million tons/annum.
