Japan - Sasaki Shipbuilding Launches Newbuild Oil-chemical Tanker

Sasaki Shipbuilding, located on the island of Kinoe, few days ago held launching ceremony for newbuild vessel JYOHOUMARU.

The vessel is an oil/ chemical tanker with the capacity of 6,316cbm build in accordance with the latest environmental standards.

The vessel was launched safely on a beautiful snowy day with the attendance of yards and owners representatives.

Sasaki shipyard specialized itself in the construction of tankers and gas carriers up to 15,000 DWT.

Since 1931, Sasaki Shipbuilding continued to build a great number of ships, keeping up with the latest technologies. As a part of technological innovation, CAD system for designing and NC plasma cutting machines and longitudinal welding machines for steel construction have been successively introduced since 1991 so as to further pursue constructional accuracy and efficiency as well as economical effectiveness.
