Japan: Tepco Sep LNG Imports at 1.8 Million Tonnes

Japan’s Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) said its liquefied natural gas imports in September were at 1.8 million tonnes, compared to 2.01 million tonnes in September last year.

TEPCO used 1.93 million tons of LNG in September, compared to 1.96 million tonnes the company consumed in September of 2012.

In April-September period, TEPCO bought 12.11 million tonnes and consumed 11.72 million tonnes of LNG.
