The Dunkirkmax vessel Nightsky was delivered from Namura’s Imari yard on November 19.

The 291-meter vessel will be the first newbuild to join Alcyon since 2015, when the company welcomed four 180,000-ton bulkers from South Korea’s Sungdong.

Nightsky features low NOx engines conforming to IMO MARPOL Annex VI, along with IMO-approved ballast water treatment equipment.

The Bahamas-flagged ship will be classified by ClassNK and have a crew of 25.
