JECS’ Business Mushrooms with Offshore Wind

JECS Offshore is negotiating contracts for several offshore wind farms as well as framework agreements with two major developers covering multiple services to projects over a 3-year period, the company reported along the news that its turnover has increased by 80% over the past 12 months thanks to European offshore wind industry.

JECS Offshore was formed 18 months ago and within 3 months of trading it had secured multiple contracts across Europe from companies such as Nexans Cables, Dong Energy, TenneT Offshore, ABB Cables, A2SEA, CT Offshore and others.

In August 2015 , the company expanded on the services that it offered and secured and delivered on a contract to provide Cable Pulling Supervisors and Riggers for a project off the coast of Germany.

JECS, which now offers Scaffolding Access Solutions, Cable Pulling Services, Painting & Protective Coatings as well as Encapsulated Enclosures to the Offshore Wind Industry, has secured orders for projects in Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

The company is currently working on the Burbo Bank Extension, Race Bank, Gode Wind 1 and 2, Borkum Riffgrund, as well as projects in Fabricom’s depot in Antwerp.
