Jovo to get second spot LNG cargo from Pertamina

The 65,000 cbm LNG Lerici is heading to Indonesia’s Bontang export plant, operated by Pertamina to pick up a cargo of the chilled gas for China’s privately owned Jovo Group.

The spot LNG cargo is the second bought by Jovo from Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company, a source familiar with the matter told LNG World News on Tuesday.

The Eni-owned LNG tanker is expected to arrive at Bontang around October 8, according to shipping data.

Once it loads LNG, the vessel which just started serving Jovo under a two-year charter will depart to the company’s Dongguan terminal in the Guangdong province.

Pertamina recently shipped the first spot cargo from Bontang to Jovo onboard the small LNG carrier Hai Yang Shi You 301.

The 30,000 cbm vessel is currently unloading the chilled gas at the Dongguan terminal, the source said. Jovo chartered the vessel from CNOOC of China for a period of 2 months.
