Kogas’ January LNG sales fall 7.1 pct

South Korea’s Kogas, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, said its sales volume totaled 4.03 million tons in January, a drop of 7.1% compared to the same month in 2014.

Kogas said in a filing to the stock exchange that its gas sales into the power sector were at 1.57 million tons, a drop of 11.0% on year.

The company’s city gas sales were at 2.47 million tons, down 3.9% as compared to the same month last year.
