LNG Ltd Makes Board Changes

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited announced that Madam Wang Xinge (Cathy) has resigned as an Executive Director and Joint Chief Executive Officer as at 1 August 2013 and announced the appointment of Madam Yao Guihua (Grace) as her replacement.

In accordance with the terms of the Process Deed between the Company and China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation (HQC,) Madam Yao was nominated by HQC and this appointment was approved by the Company’s Board of Directors but is subject to approval by shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting in November 2013.

Madam Yao currently holds the position of General Manager, HQSM Engineering and is responsible for the management of the HQC Singapore Office. Prior to this appointment,she was based in Beijing in the role of HQC Director of International BusinessDevelopment.

Madam Yao holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University in China.

In announcing this appointment, LNGL Chairman Richard Beresford stated that she will be an outstanding addition to the board and welcomed her to the Company.

“The Board and Management team look forward to working with Grace in promoting the Company’s global LNG business opportunities and OSMR® Technology. Grace has access to senior decision makers within China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and will have a particular responsibility to look for CNPC opportunities where the Company is able to replicate the technical and engineering work that it has completed for the Fisherman’s Landing LNG project in Gladstone, Australia”,said Mr Beresford.

“I wish to thank Cathy for the contribution she has made since her appointment in July 2011 and extend best wishes to her in her ongoing role as Senior Vice President of HQC.”
