Lundin Awaded 7 Licences in APA 2012

Lundin Petroleum AB  has been awarded seven exploration licence interests in the 2012 Norwegian Licensing Round (Awards in Predefined Areas, APA).

The awarded licences include four licences in the North Sea, two in the Norwegian Sea as well as one licence in Barents Sea. Two of the awarded licences will be operated by Lundin Petroleum.

The licence interests are detailed below.

PL203B (Block 25/4): 15% – Alvheim Area, North Sea

PL673 (Block 16/1): 60% – Greater Luno Area, North Sea

PL678S (Blocks 26/1, 2 & 4, 31/10): 20% – Northern Utsira High, North Sea

PL685 (Blocks 34/6, 35/1 & 4): 20% – Northern North Sea

PL694 (Blocks 6607/4, 5 & 6): 20% – Norwegian Sea

PL700 (Blocks 6206/11 & 12)*: 40% – Norwegian Sea
