PHE ONWJ, Nusantara Regas Sign Supply Deal

In order to fulfill the needs of domestic gas, through the facility sharing, PT Nusantara Regas and PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) are trying to supply gas to PLN generator at Tanjung Priok.

The Signing of Facility Sharing Agreement was conducted by President Director of Nusantara Regas, Hendra Jaya and President Director PHE, Ignatius Tenny Wibowo, also witnessed by Deputy of Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities Republic of Indonesia (SKK Migas), Lambok H. Hutauruk SKK Migas office, Jakarta.

According to instruction from Minister of Finance Republic of Indonesia through letter addressed to Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities Republic of Indonesia number S-369/MK.6/2013 regarding the rental agreement of State-Owned Goods beside Land and/or Property on Contractor of Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ.

PT Nusantara Regas (NR) is a company which provides gas supply (from re-gasfication of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) through Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Offshore of Pantai Jakarta and Onshore Receiving Facility (ORF) at Muara Karang and responsible for the operations of the FSRU and ORG facilities.

PHE ONJW is the operator of Blok ONWJ which is responsible to operate some of State-Owned Goods (BMN) facilities which managed by SKK Migas for the oil and gas activity on Blok ONWJ such as distribute and supply gas to generator belongs to PT PLN (Persero) which located at Muara Karang and Tanjung Priok, including the pipe lines from Muara Karang to Tanjung Priok

After signing the agreement, Nusantara Regas will distribute gas from the FSRU  to the receiving point on ORF ONWJ Tanjung Priok, according to terms and conditions which expiry in 3 years, and the cost of the rental of facility usage becomes NR’s responsible.
