Ben Burford, a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, is returning to the internship program this year as intern logistical coordinator. He commented, “The MBARI summer internship program has proven to be a truly life-changing experience. The opportunity to learn from and work with the brilliant scientists and engineers of this wonderful institution has provided me with invaluable skills, experience, and connections. I am thrilled to be here and am looking forward to enjoying this summer with an exceptional group of talented young people!”
