Minister Calls for Belle Greve Bay Land Reclamation, Guernsey

Kevin Stewart, the Commerce and Employment minister, recently suggested that the States should re-explore potential Belle Greve Bay land reclamation scheme to solve a series of major headaches for the island.

He stated that a large amount of the island is reclaimed land.

“This is what Guernsey has done in the past,” Stewart added.

According to thisisguernsey.com, the residents have signalled strong opposition to this suggestion that Belle Greve Bay be reclaimed as part of any radical building plans.
