The vessel supplied liquefied natural gas to DEME’s offshore installation vessel Orion, the company said in a brief statement through its social media channels.

It added that, in the midst of the challenges created by the coronavirus outbreak, the company has taken measures to ensure a safe environment for the crew of the bunkering vessel as well as its customers. The company continues to fulfill its requirements, the statement reads.

Following the completion of the second LNG STS in the port of Rostock, Kairos is already on its way to Sweden where it is set to complete another bunkering operation.

Nauticor completed the first LNG STS bunkering of Orion in the port of Rostock in January as the vessel was outfitted with a 5,000-tonne crane at the Liebherr construction yard.
