Nautilus Minerals Team Member Resigns

Nautilus Minerals informed that Adam Wright, vice president Papua New Guinea (PNG) Operations, has resigned from the company, effective February 26, 2018.

Nautilus CEO Mike Johnston said, “Over the past three and a half years, Adam has played a significant role in the key areas of project management, stakeholder and government engagement and corporate social responsibility. We would like to thank him for the valuable contributions he has made to Nautilus’ progress to date and wish him well in his future endeavours.

Adam Wright has over 30 years experience in the copper and gold mining industries, having worked on projects in Europe, North America, Latin America, South East Asia, Australasia and Africa.

Wright was general manager of the Hidden Valley gold mine in PNG, taking the project from exploration, through construction and in to operation. He was also responsible for the ramp up of operations at the Lumwana copper mine in Zambia.

Wright has a Masters of Engineering degree in Mineral Process Engineering from Imperial College London.
