Volvo Trucks Netherlands realized the delivery of the LNG-fueled long-haulers through its dealer Harbers, the company said in its statement.

The order consists of 12 FM LNG 4×2 trucks and two Volvo FH LNG 4×2 trucks, the statement reads.

The move to expand its LNG-fueled fleet stems from St van den Brink’s ambition to reduce its CO2 emissions by at least 20 percent.

In addition, the company is looking to gain financial benefits with the imminent kilometer charge for trucks in the Netherlands, with the company expecting the tax to be lower for LNG-fueled trucks.
