 New MD for NIGC

Iranian minster of petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh has appointed Hamidreza Araqi as new managing director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) and deputy oil minister, replacing Javad Owji in position.

Hamid Reza Araqi was among the previous managers of NIGC who was in charge of  management in gas distribution, commercial, gas transmission pipeline sections and he was also involved in some prominent gas projects like Bid Boland gas processing plant.

Zanganeh also appointed Hamidreza Araqi, Azizzolah Ramazani, Abdolhossein Samari and Pirouz Monjezi as the main board members of NIGC. Furthermore Alireza Ghribi and Hasan Montazer Torbati appointed as alternate members of the board.
