New Well Comissioned at Gunashli Field Offshore Azerbaijan

The well # 79 from the platform # 13 was commissioned at Gunashli field. The daily production of the well, drilled by SOCAR-AQŞ JV, makes 152 thousand cubic meters of gas and 20 tons of condensate from 3368-3350 meters.

The well will be commissioned by 28 May Oil and Gas Production Company.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is the state-owned oil and natural gas corporation of Azerbaijan. It is considered to be one of the largest oil companies in the world. It produces oil and natural gas, operates the country’s two oil refineries and the running of oil and gas pipelines through out the country. ‘SOCAR’ oversees the international consortia that is developing new oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan.
