The company noted in its brief social media statement that the facility reached a milestone after it loaded 1,000 LNG ISO containers.

The Montego Bay terminal features LNG storage, truck loading facilities, a regasification plant, and natural gas pipelines, and supplies the 145 MW Bogue power plant as well as industrial customers.

The facility is capable of storing 7,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel in seven separate storage tanks. It received first gas and was commissioned in towards the end of 2016.
