Newbuilding 129 Nears Launch at Simek

Simek Shipyard has completed the hull assembly of the platform supply vessel “Newbuilding 129”. The vessel of Skipsteknisk ST-216 Arctic design, being built for Gulf Rederi AS, is based on its very successful ST-216L CD predecessor.

This vessel is designed for harsh environment operations, and will be ice classed and winterized for cold climate conditions. In addition, the vessel will have a green profile and will be fitted for rescue and oil recovery capabilities.
