Norway: PSA Gives Nod for COSLPioneer

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has granted consent to Statoil  for the use of the mobile drilling facility COSLPioneer.

The consent applies to permanent plugback, drilling and completion of well 15/5 A-7, which is part of production licence 048 B.

The planned position of the rig in connection with drilling and completion of 15/5-A-7 AH is:  N 58°43’30.301″ E 1°38’25.419″  Water depth at the site is approximately 110 metres.

Anticipated start-up of the operation is 29 February 2012. The activity is estimated to last for approximately 106 days.
