Chief Investment Officer

Dorine Bosman joined Port of Amsterdam board as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) in October 2021. As CIO she plays an important role in boosting Amsterdam as a sustainable European seaport and in stimulating and accelerating the energy transition and the circular activities within the port and in the North Sea Canal Area. Within Port of Amsterdam, Bosman is responsible for infrastructure, maintenance & environment management, and commercial participations. Bosman joined Port of Amsterdam after a career with Shell with postings in Scotland, United States, Australia and the Netherlands. She held several technical and commercial positions, was Vice President Social Performance, and more recently Vice President Offshore Wind for the Shell Group.

Bosman likes to work on the touch points of disciplines, finding value in working the interfaces, fostering collaboration and integration. She holds an MSc in Geophysics from Delft University, and graduated with distinction from the Partnership Brokering Accreditation Scheme (pbas). Dorine is a former board member of the Australian CO2 Cooperative Research Centre (CO2 CRC), and of IBLF – UK
