Petrobras’ platform back online after leak, fire.
A fire broke out Wednesday morning on a Petrobras-run oil production platform, off the coast of Brazil.

According to the Brazilian oil workers union Sindipetro NF, the incident happened on the PNA-1 platform, in the Campos basin on July 30 around 11 a.m., during a welding work on the platform, located in the Namorado offshore field.
No injuries to the crew have been reported, and the fire was quickly quelled by wet blankets and fire extinguishers, the union said in a statement.
Later during the day, a gas leak and oily water found leaking into the sea urged Petrobras to halt production.
Sindipetro NF on Thursday afternoon local time said that the platform was back in production.
