The production had been closed due to the damage caused by a fire that occurred on the platform on December 26 last year. The fire had damaged the platform’s chemicals system.

Two workers sustained light injuries in the 2013 incident. One of the workers on the platform sprained his ankle, while the other one inhaled smoke.

The P-20 has the production capacity of 22,000 barrels of oil per day.
