PHOTO: Ultra Deep preparing for ‘Andy Warhol’ launch

Offshore vessel operator Ultra Deep Solutions is preparing for the launch of one of its newbuild diving support and construction vessels (DSCVs) next week.

Ultra Deep reported through its social media channels on Friday it would hit another milestone in the coming week; the launch of the Andy Warhol vessel.

The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of this year.

“Our teams have been working around the clock to have this fine vessel ready by Q3 2018,” Ultra Deep said.

The Warhol is an MT 6023 and is fully loaded with an 18 Men Saturation system 300 msw. The DNV-GL also comes with FiFi 3 and full Oil recovery equipment.

As for the company’s other newbuilds, the Picasso, the Van Gogh, and the Ultra Deep Matisse DSCVs are expected to be delivered in 1Q 2018, 2Q 2018, and 1Q 2019, respectively.

Back in December, Ultra Deep won contracts for three of its vessels, DSCV Van Gogh, DSCV Picasso, and DSCV Lichtenstein.
