Pivotal LNG requests FERC ruling on production facilities jurisdiction

Pivotal LNG, an AGL Resources unit, submitted a petition for declaratory order and requested expedited consideration by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

Pivotal LNG requests that certain existing liquefied natural gas production facilities not otherwise subject to the commission’s jurisdiction, would not be deemed “LNG terminal” by virtue of the production or sale of LNG that is subsequently exported or re-sold for ultimate export, by a third party, stands in the filing.

Pivotal LNG requested an expedited order to be issued by February 27, 2015, also requesting a shorter comment period of ten days.
