Port of Tallinn hosts LNG in Baltic sea ports seminar

Port of Tallinn will be hosting an International seminar on the topic of the development of LNG infrastructure in the Baltic sea ports in Muuga harbour on 25th of September 2014.

Topics to be discussed on the seminar are the burning topics of the Baltic region, like the impact of LNG distribution in the region through proposed LNG terminals in Estonia and Finland. Latest developments on LNG distribution and shipowners will be another topic, as well as the small scale bunkering network development across the Baltic.

„LNG in Baltic Sea Ports” is a Motorways of the Sea project co-financed by the EU TEN-T Multi-Annual Programme and offers a possibility in the process of adapting to the new SECA content limits. The initiative aims to foster a harmonised approach towards LNG bunker filling infrastructure in the Baltic Sea area and seven ports are involved in the project – Aarhus, Copenhagen-Malmö, Helsingborg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn and Turku.
