Through the investigation, it was revealed that key work processes for the operation of the Oseberg Field Centre are inadequate. A number of activities have taken place during normal operations and have continued for several years without the work processes being risk-assessed, updated or prepared, the PSA has revealed.

The PSA today ordered Statoil to review, risk-assess and update work processes for the operation of the wells and process facilities at Oseberg Field Centre. The deadline for complying with the order is set at 31.3.2014.
