PSA Inspects ConocoPhillips’ Eldfisk S (Norway)

From 21 to 22 February 2013, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) carried out an audit of ConocoPhillips.

The purpose of the audit was to follow up on how ConocoPhillips is ensuring that the safety instrumented systems on Eldfisk S will meet relevant regulatory requirements, recognised standards and guidelines, as well as the company’s own requirements and policies.

Non-conformities were identified in connection with:

– performance standards

– Safety Integrity Level (SIL) calculations

No improvement points were identified.
