Q-Flex bound for Zhejiang LNG terminal

Qatar, the world’s largest liquefied natural gas producer, shipped an LNG cargo from the Ras Laffan Port to China on Sunday.

The Al Hamla liquefied natural gas tanker, with a capacity of 216,000 cbm, is expected to arrive at CNOOC’s Zhejiang LNG terminal on January 4, shipping data shows.

Qatargas delivered the first cargo of LNG to the Zhejiang terminal in September of 2012.

The Doha-based LNG producer and CNOOC have an existing deal signed in 2008 for the supply of a total of 2 million tonnes per annum of the chilled gas.
