Q-Max LNG carrier Lijmiliya with a cargo from Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex is on its way to the UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal.

According to the shipping data by the Milford Haven Port Authority, the 266,000-cbm carrier is scheduled to dock at South Hook terminal’s jetty on March 21.

The vessel, built by the South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, was delivered to its owner Nakilat in January 2009.

National Grid’s data shows that gas flows from the Milford Haven LNG terminal into the national transmission system have been at around 27 mcm/day during the morning hours of March 15.

The terminal can process 15.6 million tons of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic meters of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
