Qatargas CEO to Deliver SIEW Opening Keynote Address

Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Chief Executive Officer of Qatargas, will share his views on the role of gas in the future energy mix and how recent developments will impact the global energy landscape at the 6th Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW).

This year’s SIEW will take place amidst an age of energy abundance. The way we produce, consume and distribute energy has changed.

The development of unconventional resources has led to the prospect of abundant energy supplies. Unconventional gas, in particular, has emerged as a “game changer” with the potential to drive economic growth and address environmental concerns at the same time.

In the SIEW Opening Keynote Address Sheikh Khalid Bin Khalifa Al-Thani will share perspectives on “New Horizons in Energy” that will frame the discussions for the Week.

SIEW 2013 runs from 28 October to 1 November.
