Rialto's New Drilling Manager to Oversee Gazelle Drilling Offshore Ivory Coast

Rialto, an oil and gas exploration and production company, has appointed Simon Zoller as Corporate Drilling Manager for the Company to manage its current exploration programme offshore Côte d’Ivoire.

Zoller will be responsible for the 3 well drilling programme in Block CI 202, Côte d’Ivoire – which commenced in March 2012 with the spudding of the Gazelle-P3 well – as well as overseeing future drilling operations. Simon Zoller has over 12 years experience in shallow and deepwater drilling, project management and other related fields – including work on projects located in the West African region where Rialto’s Gazelle Field is located.

Prior to joining Rialto, Mr. Zoller held drilling management positions with Premier Oil and Tullow Oil, where he gained relevant experience conducting drilling campaigns offshore West Africa, including the Jubilee development offshore Ghana. He recently supervised a drilling campaign off the north-west coast of Australia for Japan Energy and has also held drilling positions at Enterprise Oil and Peak Well Management Asia Pacific. He graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Aberdeen University and a Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from Edinburgh’s Heriot-Watt University.
