Rosmorport, Summa to Invest in Zarubino Seaport-Based Terminal

Rosmorport and Summa are to join forces on construction of marine terminals at the Zarubino Seaport. The agreement was signed during the 18th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (FSUE).

Rosmorport, Summa to Cooperate at Zarubino Seaport

Andrey Tarasenko, General Director of FSUE Rosmorport, and Alexander Vinokurov, President of the Summa group of companies, signed the agreement on cooperation for implementation of investment project for construction of universal and specialized handling terminal for transshipment of cargo at the Zarubino Seaport.

The agreement stipulates close cooperation between the parties during the drafting of the declaration of intent to invest in the construction of appropriate port infrastructure at the Zarubino Seaport.

The declaration of intent, which will be developed by the investor, will reflect all the issues related to defining the order of interaction between the parties.

The declaration will include the design and subsequent construction of the seaport facilities, the formation of necessary funding sources, as well as the subsequent distribution of property rights of the private investor and the Russian Federation on the port facilities infrastructure upon completion.
