Gazprom, Rosneft Discuss Gas Supplies

The Gazprom headquarters hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Igor Sechin, President, Chairman of the Rosneft Management Committee.

The parties discussed the implementation of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement and the Agreement of Cooperation on gas supply to the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.

The meeting addressed arrangement of gas supplies to the petrochemical complex, owned by Eastern Petrochemical Company. Special attention was paid to the fact that Gazprom was developing a project for construction of a gas lateral from the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas transmission system to the Vrangel district of the Nakhodka city and the Vrangel gas distribution station (GDS), as well as construction of an inter-settlement gas pipeline from the GDS to the petrochemical complex.

Alexey Miller and Igor Sechin discussed offshore operations on the shelf and associated petroleum gas use.
